Printable Bible Verses PDF – Bible Verse Decor For Walls

As I’ve been working on expanding my printables library, I’ve taken a dive into creating some printable scripture wall art. These Bible verses to print are simple and designed to be placed in side by side frames. My original intent was that they be Bible verse decor for walls, but as I developed them I couldn’t help thinking that they would also look great on top of a decorative dresser or mantel – so download and use them wherever you think best!

There is not much happening in terms of home decor in my house during this stage of life, but I’ve just recently been trying to think harder about ways to make our living space feel more polished. I’ve always liked the use of inspirational home decor and Bible verses in the homes of others. It just adds small reminders of truth throughout the rooms you visit everyday. When I enter the home of someone with Bible verse home decor it also helps me quickly understand their faith lies. It may even be a conversation starter.

I am in no way a shining example of home decor, but I had fun designing a few pieces of printable scripture wall art. If you are one that enjoys adding inspirational touches to your home, these are easy to print and frame!

Each of these Bible verses to print was designed to print to regular computer paper. All you need to do is download the pdf, print it out, and frame it! (If you have an 8×10 frame you will have to trim each page just slightly. Just be sure that you trim both sides the same so the rows of text still align!)

Below are the various printable scripture wall art designs that I created in my most recent batch:

Note: The “It Is Well” design is not scripture, but just inspirational home decor to print. I like the phrase because it still reminds me that my peace is found in Christ and that whatever trial should come, that God is sovereign and in control. My soul is always well because it is redeemed by a good and saving God!

Bible Verse Wall Art Print #1 – Psalm 46:10

This printable scripture wall art comes from Psalm 46:10:

“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”

It’s a reminder for me that God is sovereign and in control. I don’t need to worry or be anxious, but my soul can be still trusting in Him. Nothing is beyond His sovereignty or authority. He has bigger plans and purposes than I can comprehend. When I am trusting him my heart can be still.

The design will print to regular 8.5 x 11 computer paper that will need to be trimmed before placed in two 8 x 10 frames. (Just be sure you trim both pages evenly so that the rows of text still align!)

Bible Verse Wall Art Print #2 – 2 Corinthians 12:9

printable scripture wall art

This printable scripture wall art comes from 2 Corinthians 12:9:

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

This verse is a reminder for me that all I need is Christ. When I feel helpless or weak, I don’t primarily need a practical solution or answer. I need God’s grace. God’s grace is sufficient. It is all I need. His strength shines brightly when I am weak and depending on Him. I don’t need my life to be in perfect order or all to be going well in the world around me. All I need is Christ.

Inspirational Wall Art Print #3 – It Is Well

Printable Scripture Wall Art

I’ve always liked the lyrics of the popular hymn that state “It is well with my soul.” It was only when I researched some of the background for this post that I learned some of the background behind these famously sung words. Did you know that words to this hymn were penned by Horatio Spafford after the tragic loss of ALL 5 of his children? You can read the story behind the hymn and the full lyrics here.

The short phrase that it is well with my soul reminds me of the greater message of the hymn, which is that our souls are well in Christ regardless of the sorrows and trial we experience in this life. Our souls are well in Christ because, like the hymn goes on to say:

“My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!”

If we believe that Jesus, the perfect son of God, died on the cross for our sins we are saved from the punishment for them and we receive the promise of eternity with God! It is truly a glorious thought.
